Redlands, CA - Della Jean Braga, 95, died peacefully with her two sons by her side on February 20, 2026 at Plymouth Village in Redlands, California.

She was born the youngest child of three, to Sabina and Bloss Beal on October 5, 1930 in Newport Beach, California.

Della was raised in Newport Beach and attended Newport High School. Shortly after graduating, she married Richard Braga of Redlands, California on April 9, 1950. She relocated to Redlands where she raised their three children Christine, Frank and Richard, and became an integral part of the family citrus business and local Portuguese community. She later expanded her career under the employ of Redlands Community Hospital and Beaver Medical Group.

Della was an accomplished seamstress and expressed her talent through her passion for quilting. Over the years she made several beautiful quilts for family members, each created with her love sewn into every stitch.

Della is survived by her two sons Frank and Richard, her four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, and daughter Christine.
