Redlands, CA - Marjorie Lambson was born on May 25, 1931 and passed away in Redlands on May 9, 2026 at the age of 94. Marge was grateful to have lived in the family house since 1969 and especially loved her back yard, birds, and garden. She was born on her parents' large Wyoming cattle ranch where there was no electricity or plumbing until the 1950s. She had to go live "in town" of 200 people to attend school after grade five. Before that, school was a one-room schoolhouse she and her two sisters (Maxine & Marlene) reached each day by bareback horse during cold Wyoming winters.

She was ferociously smart, strong, independent, and self-reliant. At a time when a lot of girls were not allowed education, she graduated with honors from Wasatch Academy and Westminster College in Utah with a degree in Biology and a minor in Scientific German. All this while putting her husband through college, internship, residency, and raising her three children at the same time, usually on VA bases, with no car or other transportation. The early years were hard, but she stretched every dollar. Marge often did her husband's homework while he was working night shifts to support the family. She worked very hard to raise her family responsibly. She used her education by working in hospitals and physicians' practices.

Marge read one to two books every week, took care of her own house, gardened, and did her own grocery shopping into her 90s. She was determined to be cheerful each day. She attended her weekly painting class at the Redlands Community Center and treasured all her dear friendships there.

She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years and our beloved father, Dr. Gordon Lambson, as well as her son Steve Lambson. She is survived by her children, Julia of Redlands, CA with grandchildren Alexander, Carolyn, and Nick; and Mark (Mary) of San Diego, CA with grandchildren Krista and Maia. At Marge's request, there were no services but there are so many wonderful memories.
